New Year's Eve 2016
We only have a few hours left of 2015 as we get ready to welcome 2016. Everyone is full of excitement and ready to set those New Year's resolutions. Personally, I like to ring in the new year surrounded by my loved ones and, of course, my mother's new year rituals (drink champagne and eat 12 grapes right when the clock strikes midnight). The best part for me is having my loved ones by my side. I don't usually set new year's resolutions, but I do like to look back on my year and learn from my experiences; accept my faults and continue to grow. This year has been such a great year for me, on a personal and professional level. As cliche as it might sound, I've learned that there's much more joy in giving than in receiving. If I had to sum-up some of the special moments of 2015 into words, I would say something like: "family is everything", "it's GIRLS day!", or "we're going to Santa Barbara!". In my early twenties, I searched for happiness thinking I would find it somewhere far away. Then, life taught me that happiness isn't something we need to search for, but simply a choice we make everyday. So, 2015, thank you for all the love, laughs, hugs, and memorable moments. In this new year, I look forward to continue growing professionally and personally. I hope everyone has an amazing end of 2015, full of love. Don't forget to let your inner spirit shine bright.

Estamos a solo unas horas de despedir el 2015 y dar la bienvenida al 2016. Todos estamos llenos de emoción y listos con nuestras resoluciones de año nuevo. A mi, en lo personal, me gusta recibir el año rodeada de mis seres queridos y, por supuesto, seguir a mi madre en sus rituales de año nuevo (beber champán y comer 12 uvas justo cuando las agujas del reloj marquen la medianoche). Lo mas importante para mí es tener a mis seres queridos a mi lado. No acostumbro a establecer resoluciones de año nuevo, pero si me gusta reflexionar y aprender de mis experiencias; aceptar mis errores y seguir creciendo como ser humano. Este 2015 ha sido un gran año para mí, a nivel personal y profesional. He aprendido que hay más alegría en dar que en recibir. Si tuviera que resumir algunos de los momentos mas especiales del 2015 , diría ago así como: "La familia lo es todo", "hoy es un día de chicas" o "vamos a Santa Bárbara!". Hace tiempo busqué la felicidad pensando que la encontraría en algún lugar lejano, pero la vida me ha enseñado que la felicidad no es algo que debemos buscar, sino simplemente una elección que hacemos a diario. Así que le doy gracias por todo el amor, risas, abrazos, y momentos memorables al año 2015. Y en este nuevo año, espero seguir creciendo profesional y personalmente. Espero que todos tengan un excelente fin de año, lleno de amor. No se olviden dejar que su espíritu interior brille. Si vas a recibir el año nuevo en casa o celebrar fuera, creo que todos necesitamos un poco de brillo en nuestro vestuario. Este es el momento perfecto del año para llevar lentejuelas.
