I was on Rodeo Drive doing some last minute shopping for a client and couldn't help stroll around and enjoy the holiday decorations and atmosphere. Being a fashion stylist is hard work and it’s not always as glamorous as everyone thinks. But I have to admit; Rodeo Drive is beautiful, especially during the holidays, so it's not the place to walk into wearing yoga pants and a bun. I like to keep my style simple and add one or two pieces that’ll dress-up my outfit. I’m petite so shopping for jeans is not always easy. They’re always too long or too big, so I never over spend on jeans. In this picture I'm wearing one of my favorite pair of jeans I purchased at H&M for under $20. The sweater I’m wearing is from Zara. I fell in love with the fabric because it’s nice and thick which will keep me warm. The color goes with just about anything. My favorite parts of this look are the shoes and handbag. I'm not a fan of pink, but these shoes and handbag are a soft rose and look almost nude. They go perfect with a pair of jeans. The heel on the pumps is perfect because it's not too high and they are comfy enough to get around in. I'm don’t like match my shoes and handbag, but this time I decided it was ok since the jeans and sweater break up the colors. Finally, the last piece of my outfit, and one of my favorite things to wear when I’m out and about is the felt hat. I have one in every color. This one is from H&M.

Estuve en Rodeo Drive haciendo algunas compras de última hora para un cliente y no pude resistir pasear y disfrutar de las decoraciones navideñas y el ambiente de Rodeo Drive. Ser estilista de moda es un trabajo arduo y no siempre es tan glamoroso como todos piensan. Pero tengo que admitir; Rodeo Drive es hermoso, especialmente durante la época navideña. No es el centro comercial donde puedes llegas en tu ropa de gimnasio. Para mi es importante mantener mi estilo sencillo pero con toques únicos. Soy muy bajita, así que encontrar pantalones de mezclilla para mi no siempre es fácil. Siempre son demasiado largos o grandes. Por esta razón no invierto en jeans demasiado caros. Así que nunca invierto mucho dinero en jeans. Aquí llevo un pantalón de H&Mque compre por menos de $20. El suéter que llevo me fascinó en cuanto lo vi en la tienda Zara. La tela es muy gruesa me mantiene calientita. Además, el color es fácil de combinar. Lo mas chic de mi atuendo indiscutiblemente son los zapatos y la bolsa. No soy muy amante del color rosa pero este color rosa es tan suave que casi me recuerda a un tono piel. En cuanto mire los zapatos, me imagine combinarlos con un pantalón de mezclilla. El tamaño del tacón es perfecto porque es bajito y están súper cómodos para un día de compras. La bolsa también la compre en Zara y aunque no soy fanática de combinar mi bolsa con mis zapatos, esta vez lo hice porque sentí que los colores del pantalón y el suéter le dan balance al atuendo. Soy amante de los sombreros de fieltro. Tengo uno en casi todos los colores. Este lo compre en H&M.
